MÉLANGE A TROIS
Hang on to your knickers, as Salty Cricket (SC3) throws you a concert of New Music at its freshest and wildest for the third time! Experience this evening of electronic and mixed media compositions. It will be a true mélange of modern art with works involving dance, theatre, iPhones, iPads, electric guitar, and more, all with an electronic twist.

A PLETHORA OF PIERROT
Arnold Schoenberg shocked the music world in 1912 and forever altered the course of classical music with his song cycle Pierrot Lunaire. Fast forward to 2011 when Salty Cricket recreates this now-standard ensemble with an evening of works for flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano, optional voice, and percussion added for pizzazz.

Before a show gets a million-dolllar set, a full orchestra pit and over-priced souvineer T-shirts, it starts with dialogue, songs and movement on a bare stage. Rose Wagner's Black Box theatre provides the intimate setting for this evening of new opera and musical theatre scenes.
